What is Target Heart rate? Target heart rate is the ideal heart rate zone for you to exercise in. This is typically 60% - 85% of your maximum heart rate.  


What is the Maximum Heart Rate? The maximum heart rate is the highest rate your pulse can reach. This is set at 220 bpm (beats per minute).


How to calculate my Maximum Heart Rate? 220bpm minus your age (Example you are 40 years old). 220 – 40 = 180bpm.
